Al Dhaen DB 380SC
Al Dhaen Boats has unveiled the DB 380SC centre console, marking the first result of a comprehensive new collaboration with renowned Dutch design studio Mulder Design. The DB 380SC represents a focused approach to offshore performance boating, designed for international owners who demand both capability and refinement. From the outset, the project had a clear ambition: to create a true offshore-capable centre console without compromising on comfort or sophistication.
a remarkable transformation
At its core lies a stepped V-hull with a fine bow entry, engineered to deliver predictable handling and confident performance across varying sea conditions. Rather than chasing maximum speed figures, the emphasis is on balance, control, and efficiency—qualities owners experience every time they take the helm.
Thoughtful Design Throughout
The vessel’s true walkaround layout provides intuitive movement on deck, with generous and flexible seating areas forward and aft that adapt seamlessly between cruising, entertaining, and relaxing at anchor. The helm station has been designed with a clear focus on ergonomics, visibility, and logic, reducing workload and making extended offshore runs more comfortable for the captain.
Breaking from traditional centre console conventions, the DB 380SC features a well-appointed cabin with pantry and head, adding genuine versatility for longer days on the water and overnight trips—not just quick outings.
Foundation of a New Range
The DB 380SC is more than a standalone model—it establishes the design DNA for an entirely new family of boats from Al Dhaen and Mulder Design. The planned range will eventually span approximately 25 to 56 feet, encompassing both centre console and cabin configurations with outboard and inboard propulsion options. Models will vary from sport-focused to luxury-oriented designs, all sharing the same core design philosophy.
The DB 380SC represents a boat with a clear purpose, honest design, and a strong balance between performance and lifestyle—the foundation for an exciting new chapter in offshore boating.
