Lumen E10
The Lumen E10 is a 10-meter all-electric yacht developed through a collaboration between Mulder Design and JR Yachts, launched on June 27, 2024, in the Netherlands. This innovative vessel represents a significant advancement in sustainable yachting, combining minimalist design with cutting-edge technology to deliver a serene and efficient cruising experience.

Designed by Mulder Design, the yacht features a sleek and modern upper hull, while JR Yachts contributed an efficient underwater hull optimized for electric propulsion. The composite hull, constructed using sustainable vinyl ester in a vacuum-infused sandwich layup, is 50% lighter than traditional aluminum or polyester hulls, enhancing performance and range. The Lumen E10 is powered by twin 38 kW pod drives, achieving a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising range of 100 to 160 kilometers at 13 km/h.
The interior, also designed by Mulder Design, offers a spacious and luxurious environment, accommodating up to eight guests. Features include a sunbed, swim platform, and a cockpit designed for comfort and ease of use. The yacht’s design emphasizes tranquility, providing a silent and smooth ride that allows passengers to connect with nature without the intrusion of engine noise.
