Majestic 200

Majestic 200 is a 61-meter superyacht concept by Mulder Design, designated as Project P1122. The design features comprehensive work by Mulder Design covering naval architecture, exterior styling, and layout, with FM Yachts in the Netherlands identified as the intended shipyard.

61-meter superyacht concept

The concept measures 61 meters in length overall with an 11.22-meter beam and 3.20-meter draft. The design incorporates dual propulsion capabilities through twin MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines, each producing 4,675 horsepower at 2,100 rpm, with a projected maximum speed of 23 knots.

Majestic 200 is designed to operate in two distinct modes with different performance characteristics. In conventional mode, the concept achieves a high-speed cruise of 20 knots with a 2,000-nautical-mile range, while long-range cruising at 12 knots would extend the range to 6,000 nautical miles.

12,000-nautical-mile range

The hybrid electric propulsion system provides alternative operational parameters: high-speed cruise of 12 knots with a 7,000-nautical-mile range, and long-range cruising at 8 knots with a 12,000-nautical-mile range.

combining traditional motor yacht performance with hybrid electric propulsion

The concept specifies FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) construction for both hull and superstructure, with Bureau Veritas classification standards. Project P1122 represents Mulder Design’s exploration of combining traditional motor yacht performance with hybrid electric propulsion technology in a single design platform.
