Manari 52

Manari 52 Wins ‘Revelation of the Year’ at the World Yachts Trophies 2026. Studio Mulder Design contributed the naval architecture for the award-winning sportsboat

The Manari 52, built by American yard Manari Yachts, has been named Revelation of the Year at the World Yachts Trophies 2026. The awards ceremony took place in September at the Carlton Cannes, where builders, designers and industry leaders gathered to recognise the year’s most notable yachts. Studio Mulder Design was responsible for the naval architecture of the Manari 52, in collaboration with Red Yacht Design and Eureka Yachts.

A performance-driven design

The Manari 52 is a 15.85-metre sportsboat with a beam of 4.59 metres and a draft of 1.33 metres at full load. Built in GRP, she is powered by twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS800 engines of 600 hp each, giving a top speed of 45 knots. A fuel capacity of 2,500 litres supports both day trips and longer weekend cruises.

Delivering Performance

Delivering this level of performance while keeping the yacht comfortable, stable and efficient to run was central to the naval architecture brief. The hull had to support high speeds and responsive handling without compromising the ride quality expected on a yacht of this class. On deck, a spacious swim platform and a side-opening balcony extend the usable space when at anchor.

Recognition for the team

The Revelation of the Year award recognises a new model that stands out within the current market. For Studio Mulder Design, the award confirms the value of close collaboration between builder, designers and engineers from the earliest stages of a project. Performance, stability and efficiency start with the hull, and this result shows what is possible when those fundamentals are well aligned with the builder’s vision.
