M/Y Spectre is a 69-meter motoryacht built by Benetti, representing the ninth collaboration between the Staluppi family and Mulder Design. The vessel features naval architecture by Mulder Design, exterior styling by Giorgio Cassetta, and Benetti’s interior design team.
innovative hull design
The yacht incorporates a high-speed cruising hull that enables the yacht to reach 21 knots, significantly faster than the typical 14-17 knots achieved by similar-sized steel displacement vessels. This innovative hull design maintains impressive efficiency, delivering a range of 6,500 nautical miles at 12 knots while consuming less fuel at cruising speeds compared to traditional displacement hulls.
The yacht features Naiad Dynamics Ride Control technology, an advanced stabilization system that goes beyond conventional roll stabilization by addressing both roll and pitch motion. This integrated approach reduces vertical motion by 40-45%, significantly improving onboard comfort during high-speed cruising at 20 knots.
The combination of these technologies transforms typical voyage times – what would normally be an eight-hour journey between destinations like Capri and Porto Cervo becomes a half-day trip, allowing for more flexible itineraries without sacrificing the comfort or efficiency expected from a superyacht of this caliber.
